21 Jul 2008

Syntiva, a developer of innovative web applications, is pleased to announce that HealthyMe Manager has begun public beta testing.  Any ad all individuals are welcome to register and start using HealthyMe Manager to track their health and fitness progress.

With the release of the public beta, HealthyMe Manager now includes several additional goals that can be set and tracked.  Additionally, a recipes section has been added to share member recipes.  As with other aspects of HealthyMe Manager, members can choose to make their recipes public or not. Recipes are searchable by themselves and are also listed along with a members public profile. Two new health calculators have also been added, Target Heart Rate and Calories Burned by Activity. The buddy list, which allows you to share health information with family and friends, has also been expanded.

The number of membership levels has also expanded from a single level to include 3 (Standard, Premium and Trainer).  Standard membership is free and includes basic metrics and functionality.  Premium membership costs a small monthly fee but includes all functionality such as: personal buddy lists, more advanced reports, trainer or wellness coach access and more.  Trainer membership requires proof of fitness certification or health coach but allows access to their clients health information and reports.
